Ariel Sim
A designer and artist on a mission for sustainability, wellness, and social unity. In addition to producing art works, Ariel coaches emerging designers and empowers them to create and engage consumers through ethical technology. She started her career as an anthropologist, co-designing environmentally sustainable homes and schools in the American Southwest. She then moved into consumer design for digital technologies, focusing in user experience (UX) design and customer insights.
Now running her own creative consultancy, Ariel has worked to elevate design for brands like Deloitte, MaRS Discovery District, the United Nations, Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal, Faurecia, the Government of Canada, and the U.S. State Department.
